Good baby shower food?

my baby shower is in just 4 short weeks and the hosts have requested a list of the foods id like present. the shower is at 5pm on a sat. i already know i want fried chicken(little place down the street has ammmmmazing fried chicken) but im not sure about side dishes? any ideas???
