Grand Theft Auto Vice City game crashing on my computer?

Quite a while back, GTA Vice City crashed on my computer. Ever since, it has yet to play correctly. It either crashes when you are directed to "The Docks" scene in the beginning or the scene where you and Ken escape to his office soon after. Any help on this?
