I find it strange how my fiancee has a newfound love for his father?

I never thought of my other half to be a family man. I fact he doesn't even like his mother. Recently, he's been spending a lot more time with his father. I've found that he treats his father better than me. When he's at home he cooks for his father, he cleans his dad's dishes, and recently his father has not been feeling well. It's not even that serious and the doctors are going to have a very minor operation on his leg and I mean, when I was ill he didn't even give me flowers or a card or anything. Maybe I am a little jealous but still, I'm supposed to be marrying him soon and if he's going to act like this when he's married to me I don't know if I want to be together anymore. Any suggestions?
